Embracing the Maltese high-grade furniture manufacturing product.

The Malta Furniture Manufacturers Organisation (MFMO) was set up in November 2001 with the aim of bringing together local furniture manufacturers in sharing common goals and interests. The organization seeks to foster close cooperation between its members and market the “Made in Malta” concept, both locally and abroad. The new council is implementing a new strategy where the association’s aim is to represent local small and medium sized manufacturers in the woodworking sector, aluminium and metal fabrication, glass and marble contractors.

Our Main Objectives

• To promote the local manufacturing industries and increase their standing and good name both locally and internationally.
• To set standards of best practice.
• To follow, discuss, review, promote and support or oppose legislative or other measures that may affect our members.
• To improve the relationships among persons, companies or associations involved in the local manufacturing industries, foster increased networking and enhance co-operation in joint initiatives undertaken in internal and external markets.
• To promote the development and upgrading of all skills and standards within the industry.
• To promote and facilitate research on design, technology, experimentation, acquisition of technical knowledge and expertise.
